First, I apologize for such a long time between updates. After ten years and 929 strips, the saga of the U.S.S. Regis Philbin and her crew is coming to an end. Series 80
will be the last Orbits set. Although I still love the strip and its characters, I'm itching to try some other comic ideas and I don't think I can juggle multiple strips. Thank you to everyone who's shown me support and encouragement through the years. Will Orbits ever return? I hope so. The web site will stay up and Orbits will become an archive on a new darkedomain.com, alongside something new. So keep the bookmark and check back now and then. Bye!

As you've probably figured out, my every-month update schedule has gone out the window. I contracted a computer virus that required the complete wiping of my hard drive, and when I got everything back up I discovered that my scanner was so old, there were no drivers for it anymore. I somehow got it working six years ago, but I have no idea how. So I've had cartoons done and waiting but no way to scan them in and colour them. Well, that's solved now, and here is Series 78
to get things going again. Look for the next update September 1.

Hello again. I have now completely recovered from a devastating virus that required me to completely wipe my hard drive (thanks for the protection, Mister Norton). So here's Series 77
at last. The next update will probably be July 1.

Surprise! Only two months late. I've added Series 76
which took way longer than it should have for no discernable reason.
I've also made a few changes to the site itself. First, I've dropped the Google ads at the bottom of every page. In a bit more than a year I've earned (drum roll) $1.46! Most of that was probably from family members clicking on random links. I hope to put in a way next update to allow donations to the site, but for now you're off the hook.
Second, I've added an option to allow you to view all the strips for a series on a single page. This site was designed way back when phone modems were common, so serving up strips one at a time made sense. Look for the Customize links.

Hello and welcome once again. You might have noticed that I'm a bit late. I've been experiencing some personal upheaval this month. Chrysler ("America's Car Company") fired me and my co-workers and replaced us with an overseas company.I drew this strip to commemorate the event. However, I did manage to draw Series 72
which I hope you enjoy.

is up. As I mentioned earlier in the month, Firefox users should now be able to see the strips.

I've just done an emergency fix to the entire site. Thanks to alert reader J-girl for pointing out that the strips weren't visible in FireFox! Seems I had a minor problem that both IE and Opera were kind enough to ignore.

Hello and welcome back. Sorry this month's update is late. I had some serious scanner issues that just went away on their own. To make up for it, though, I have two updates this month. The first, Series 69
, is just a short epilogue of sorts to Series 68
. After that is Series 70
, which kicks off some new adventures far away from the safety of Star Base Seven.
